Privacy Policy

Loan Planner ("the app") is built with your privacy as a priority. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and what it does not do.

Data stored on your device only

All loan calculations, saved loans, comparison scenarios, and app settings (theme, currency, preferences) are stored locally on your device using an on-device database. This data is never uploaded to, or accessible from, any server we operate. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable financial information.
We do not use advertising SDKs and do not show ads.
We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services that track your usage.
We do not access your camera, photo library, contacts, or location.
The app does not sell or facilitate the sale of loans, mortgages, or any financial product — it is a calculator only.

Push notifications

The app uses OneSignal to optionally deliver push notifications (for example, reminders). If you allow notifications, OneSignal assigns your device an anonymous push token used only to deliver notifications to that device. This token is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking, advertising, or cross-app/cross-site profiling.

Sharing & exports

When you use the Share or Export (PDF/CSV) features, the app hands the generated file to iOS's native share sheet. Where you send that file next (Messages, Mail, Files, etc.) is entirely your choice and outside this app's control.

Children's privacy

Loan Planner does not knowingly collect data from children. The app contains no user accounts, chat, or social features.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
